SCHOOL OF BIBLICAL STUDIES
The School of Biblical Studies (SBS) is a 9-month in-depth inductive study of all 66 books of the Bible. This course will provide you with a solid Biblical foundation and equip you with effective tools for lifelong study and more effective ministry.
The school teaches you the art of careful observation, interpretation, and application. You will be fully immersed in the Scriptures as well as the ancient world of the Bible as you study its historical and cultural context. Alongside your personal inductive study will be lecturing on every book presented by numerous teachers from diverse backgrounds.
However, this course is not just about filling your head with Bible knowledge, its primary purpose is to transform your life. It’s a study that aims to shift your thinking, character, relationships, and impact on the world. As you interact with the Author and His living, active Word, you will discover a whole new aspect of God and His purpose for mankind. COURSE DESCRIPTION

This term starts off with a three-week intensive seminar to learn the inductive approach to studying the Bible. It is the springboard that will equip you with the tools required for studying the Bible for the entire duration of the course. At the end of the term, you would have gone through most of the New Testament.

You will complete the rest of the New Testament and do a test to demonstrate your knowledge of the background and structure of each book. Next, you begin your inductive study of the Old Testament with an introduction to its ancient world and different literary genres. You will start in Genesis and you will study through to the Song of Solomon.

The third and final term begins with an introductory seminar to understand the writings of the Major & Minor Prophets in the Old Testament. Beginning with Amos you will experience both the broken heart of God and the promised hope for salvation for his people. At the end of the Prophets, you will have an examination to demonstrate your knowledge of the background and structure of each book. Then, the term is wrapped up by studying the book of Revelation in the New Testament which ties together God’s salvation plan revealed throughout the entire Bible.
